A corporate client requested a business library that could triple as a great room for gatherings and a virtual conference room. A custom U-shaped sofa accommodates business meetings, corporate events, and holiday gatherings, while state-of-the-art automation provides surround sound for entertainment and virtual enterprise. Ten-foot Alderwood doors, custom beams, and skylights accentuate the room’s cathedral ceilings, which are grounded by a Travertine tile floor and Oriental rugs. With enough storage to house over 1000 books, the impressive result is amplified by an outdoor patio built around a towering 70-year-old Eucalyptus tree.
